People watching and lessons learned

People watching, an activity most of us engage in some time or another.

Right now I am in the hotel bar at a seat where I can view everyone in the room. Perfect spot!

First group of people were likely those who will be on the cruise: older, over weight, couples speaking English loud enough I can hear them. This does not bode well for the cruise as they seem boring and boorish.

Current group are conventioneers related to the steel industry. All men and with few exceptions have bellies. Saw only one slim man! English seems to be the language currency. How depressing.  Men in shorts, polo shirts or shirts and wearing their tags. Most balding. Oops, one woman speaking English with an East European accent.

Rarely do I see a woman of my age sitting at a computer, If female, most likely younger than 40.

Women walked in and directly headed to a specific man at the bar. Does he let her sit on the stool and he stand, no! Not sure of nationality but clearly he is not a gentleman.
